Predation
An example of predation in the savanna biome is, the wild dog and the gazelle, and the wilddog eats the gazelle. When hunting gazelles, hunting dogs use their srtategy and numbers to their advantage to overcome more agile and faster prey such as the gazelle. This is a important predation example because, the gazelle poupulation is being put in check by the hunting dogs to prevent over grazing.
Another example of predation in the savanna biome is, the cheetah and the wilderbeest in which the cheetah eats the wilderbeest. In this predation example uses it's spotted dots on itself to blend in with it's enviroment while stalking it's prey which, in this case is the wilderbeest. Also, the cheetah uses it's burst of speed to take down this wilderbeast but, there are also usally more than one cheetah to take down this 260-600 pound prey.

Competetion
An example of competition in the savanna biome is the grass and the acacia tree. There was a studie done that if you remove the grass surrounding the acacia tree, the acacia tree will double it's growth rate. So, basically the grass and the acacia tree compete for water.
Another example of competition in the savanna biome is, the african alligator and the hippopotamus. The hippopotamus and african alligator compete for living space in a stream or river.
