Plants:
Some plants in this biome are, baobab trees, rhode grass, star grass, acacia trees, red oat grass, and common shrubs.
Animals:
Examples of animals in the savanna biome are, African elephants, buffalos, lions,
cheetahs, fork-tailed drango birds, leopards, wild dogs, kangroos, zebras, antelope, and hyenas.
Decomposers:
Examples of decomposers in the savanna are, termites, mold, types of bacteria, larve, and worms.
Insects:
Examples of insects in the savanna are, several species of mosquitos, dung beetle, termites, and several species of ants.
Special Adaptaions:
Some special adaptations that allow these plants and animals to survive in this biome are, symbiotic relationships that these plants animals have, and animals migrate during the dry season. Also animals develop camoflauge to blend in with their envirmont, for example, a cheetah has a light tan fur and black spots to blend in. Lastly animals develop phyiscal adaptations to survive, like a cheetah has thin skin because, when a cheetah races to catch it's prey, it reaches over 100 degrees so the cheetah needs thin fur to survive and cool down. Lastely
termites have special behavioral adaptations to help them survive, these adaptations are having a role in a colony. What this means is, they each do something to keep eachothor alive, for example, solider termites protect the colony and are physically larger than worker termites which gather food and feeding the young.
